Simply put - I love taking and restoring photographs. While I may not have the decades of experience that many photographers have, I pride myself on only accepting jobs where I know that my experience and skills will absolutely allow me to provide a very comfortable, fun session resulting in photos my clients will love, without an exorbitant cost and with a quick turnaround. We all know that today’s phones take amazing photos. What those phones won’t do is put you in the best light, location and pose to achieve results that will stand out amongst a sea of camera phone photos. I not only bring those skills to each photo shoot but also my years of photo editing expertise, allowing me to deliver final photos (either digital or printed) that I am proud of, and that will bring much joy to my clients for years to come.
I have been restoring photos for many years. It started with wanting to preserve the hundreds of photos and slides that my Dad collected and took over the years. My family, that is spread around the world, were thrilled to be able to see all of those old photos again. I realized that what I was able to do for my family was a service that I could offer to a countless number of people that have shoeboxes or albums of photos that are degrading over time and not in a format that can be shared. I take pride in my meticulous treatment of the photos I digitize and restore. I also love teaching (my main gig) and offer an additional service of instruction on everything from taking better photos with your camera or phone to editing those photos and setting up an online gallery so those newly digitized, restored photos can easily be shared with family and friends.
